EVENT SPOTLIGHT: ON THE PRECIPICE: YOUNG ADULTHOOD

Many young adults are on the brink, facing crucial life decisions and unknowns.Where am I going? What do others expect of me? What do I want? Can I make it?Often they face the precipice alone — sometimes leaning on self-destructive and violent means — until they invite the clinician in.

The Education Committee of NCSPP invites you to explore psychoanalytic psychotherapy with young adults with panelists Dorian Newton of Mills College, Nadine Tang of U.C. Berkeley, and Adam Kremen of NCSPP. Case vignettes presented by Adam Beyda and Jason Brand will help illuminate the developmental dynamics and conflicts with which young adults grapple.
