Please join the SFCP community for a weekend with Visiting Professor Nicola Abel Hirsch, a training and supervising analyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society. Known as an insightful clinician, writer, and speaker, she is an international, seminal leader. On Saturday morning, Abel-Hirsch will discuss her paper "Bion's technique", which delves into how she makes use of Bion's early and later clinical thinking and applies it to her own case material. On Sunday morning, Abel-Hirsch will join us for a close reading of Bion's classic paper "Container and contained transformed" and think about how these ideas can enhance our clinical understanding.
