Through an attuned therapeutic relationship, I will help you address internal challenges - depression, anxiety and trauma. Empathically, I help you face external challenges - discrimination, immigration and life transitions. I also support you calmly in navigating the volatile field of relationships, in which your internal worlds connect with those of others. Attachment based and psychoanalytic psychotherapy guide my practice. Design, music, and spirituality help me to further understand your inner world, relationships, creativity, and search for meaning. Language, body awareness, mindfulness, and deep listening are my tools. I am compassionate, honest, reflective, humorous and intelligent, and support these attributes in you. I work with individuals, children with parents, and couples. I am a person of color, a cisgender male, an immigrant, and I engage gender, sexuality, multicultural issues and faith. I connect with the South Asian and LGBTQ communities, and also relate to that which is universal and particular in you.
