THE COMMUNITY INSTITUTE FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY IS LOOKING FOR SUPERVISORS

The Community Institute for Psychotherapy in San Rafael needs supervisors for the September 2024 – August 2025 year. This is an opportunity to supervise and mentor graduate and doctoral students who are eager to learn more about in-depth psychotherapy. Our sliding-scale clinic is unusual in that it provides long-term psychotherapy which attracts students and associates who are looking to deepen their work as clinicians.

If you join our supervisory faculty, you will provide one hour each week of one-on-one supervision in your office at a time convenient for you. This is voluntary work, but you will become a free member at CIP. You can attend the optional monthly supervisor's training for free and receive 2 CEs (a total of 16 CEs per academic year). You will be able to attend one of our professional development seminars for free each year and receive a discount for other seminars.

We need supervisors who specialize in working with children & adolescents and/or adults. Interns are wanting supervisors with Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Relational, Kohutian, Jungian, and Somatic Orientations.

Also, we need a Group Supervisor for our group therapy program.
