NCSPP'S CORNER: MATTHEW MORRISSEY, MFT

Everyone knows the most compelling reasons to become an Impulse staff member are the cash and the fame. Doubters can watch us arriving at this year's holiday party in our BMW M6s, our adoring readers jostling to snap photos and get autographs. Later on, Impulse staffers get privileged seating at the blood sacrifice performed by the incoming NCSPP president on those who showed signs of social anxiety during the party. Survivors are invited to an after-party at our Four Seasons penthouse suite.

Seriously, though: We currently have openings for a staff writer and an editor for our monthly feature, Psychoanalysis in the News.

Staff writers submit content three times a year for our feature Potential Space, a not too daunting commitment, yet enough to develop a decent writing practice.

The News editor compiles web links to relevant articles on psychoanalytic thought or practice.
