NCSPP'S CORNER
IN THIS CHAIR: THE THERAPIST'S HUMANITY IN CLINICAL WORK
This year's Intensive Study Groups, co-sponsored by NCSPP and PINC, provide a wonderful opportunity to explore the impact of the therapist's humanity in the clinical field. The 32-week class is divided into four sections, each focusing on a different dimension of our topic: the threrapist's body, the therapist's relationships, the social, political and cultural dimensions of the therapist?s and patient's worlds, and the therapist's experiences of the uncanny. The course is designed for mid to advanced level clinicians and is limited to 15 participants. Limited scholarships are available by application. ISG participants are eligible for 12 sessions of consultation with a PINC analyst at $60 per session to help with the integration of the material into clinical practice.
Limited space is still available in San Francisco. The East Bay class is now full and taking names for a wait list. Don't delay in signing up!
The San Francisco ISG will meet on Fridays, September 14, 2012 - May 10, 2013, from 10 AM -12 PM.
