THE SAN FRANCISCO CENTER FOR PSYCHOANALYSIS PROUDLY PRESENTS:
A DAY WITH RICCARDO LOMBARDI, MD
Riccardo Lombardi, MD, will share with us his in-depth clinical experience of facilitating mental growth of patients who are unable to feel alive. Focusing on mind/body interconnectedness, the developmental importance of time, and primitive mental states, he draws on the work of Matte Blanco and Bion to provide an analytic, reflective environment that initiates mental growth out of undifferentiated emotions. Lombardi is a training and supervising analyst at the Italian Psychoanalytic Society in Rome, Italy.
Lombardi will present the clinical paper "Being: Entering into Life As an Aim of Clinical Psychoanalysis," which Peter Goldberg, PhD, will discuss. Maureen Smith Ruffell, MD, will present the case of an adult patient in psychoanalysis.
