Please join PINC faculty, administrators, graduates, and candidates to hear how we are thinking about psychoanalysis in the context of our program, while also having the opportunity to ask your questions about training and the Admissions process.

Stephen Lugar, Psy.D., PINC Graduate, chapter author of "Cruel Optimization: Interrogating Technology’s Optimization of Human Being" (The Routledge International Handbook of Psychoanalysis, Subjectivity, and Technology, 2023) in conversation with Nicolle Zapien, Ph.D., PINC Candidate, host of Technology and the Mind podcast. Steve and Nicolle will discuss from a psychoanalytic perspective the optimization mindset - a way of being that is increasingly ubiquitous in Silicon Valley and throughout our culture at large in the era of transformational technologies like AI.
