Conventional analytic training favors a technical orientation while neglecting the primacy of experience. In our training, we view psychopathology as a more personal affair. We believe that all analysts and students alike need to “reinvent the wheel,” and to base their thinking on their resourcefulness as individuals, with unique points of view. Our training revolves around the study of existential philosophy and phenomenology, including Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, the Greeks, focusing on Freud, Lacan, Bion, and R.D. Laing.

Consists in theoretical seminars, case conferences, supervision and culminates in a certificate in EXISTENTIAL PSYCHOANALYSIS.
