EVENT SPOTLIGHT
PSYCHOANALYTIC COUPLE PSYCHOTHERAPY EVENT
NCSPP and PCPG* present "How Was It For You? Attachment, Mirroring, and the Psychotherapeutic Process with Couples Presenting Sexual Problems," October 29th, 9 - 4, David Brower Center, Berkeley.
Acclaimed Senior Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist Christopher Clulow, Ph.D. from London's Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships will examine the diverse ways women and men make sex work in their relationships, with a focus on attachment processes. Dr. Clulow will invite us to think about how we can engage clinically with the sexual problems of couples by exploring how attachment and mirroring processes relate to the sexual experiences of couples. Following Dr. Christopher Clulow's thought-provoking presentation, Dr. Leora Benioff will discuss Dr. Clulow's paper and Dr. Shawnee Cuzzillo will present a case in the afternoon.
