More Info:
I am a certified Attachment Focused-EMDR therapist, an EMDRIA and Parnell Institute Approved-Consultant and a PI facilitator of trainings. EMDR is a well researched approach used for reducing symptoms of Trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions and phobias. In addition, I am a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Peter Levine, Ph.D.) a three-year program for the treatment for tracking and releasing how the body holds implicit/explicit traumatic memories while building resiliency. I also facilitate SE trainings. In addition to integrating these approaches in my psychodynamic private practice, I also work collaboratively with other therapists whose patients have experienced developmental traumas (neglect, sexual, physical) and/or situational trauma (rape, war, accidents, etc...). My focus is to help your patient successfully process though the trauma and the symptomatology associated with trauma in order to productively continue on with the primary therapy. Available for online therapy.
