We will explore the increasingly complex set of psychological and sociopolitical challenges we have in the 21st century, and the forms of inquiry that psychoanalysis may offer. Professor Jyoti M. Rao and Dr. M.G. Renu Cappelli, both of whom are at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, will lead us in a dialogue around these pressing topics, with a particular emphasis on psychoanalysis as a method of dialogue with marginality within and in relationship with others.
