BEYOND THE CONSULTING ROOM: A CONVERSATION ABOUT THE JUNGIAN LIFE WITH THOMAS KIRSCH, MD
Each year the pre-licensed committee hosts a number of events aimed at cultivating community as well as supporting graduate students' and early career clinicians' professional development and intellectual interests. This year we are continuing our efforts to foster a consistent dialogue between Jungian and Freudian traditions of psychoanalysis.

On November 13, 2015, we will be hosting the event "Beyond the Consulting Room: A Conversation with Dr. Thomas Kirsch." Kirsch is a Jungian analyst, past president of the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, and a renowned Jungian scholar. His most recent publication is the acclaimed memoir A Jungian Life. Kirsch is the son of two Jungian analysts, and his father maintained a close relationship with Jung before fleeing from Nazi Germany and coming to California.

Please join us for what promises to be a fascinating conversation about the history of the Jungian tradition and about Kirsch's experience of a "Jungian life."
