Fall Community Mental Health Botanical Tour
Looking for a chance to connect with community mental health clinicians and with nature and grow relationships with other therapists? The event will include a guided tour, allowing attendees to learn about conservation, natural patterns of growth, and the sustaining of ecosystems. Following the tour, we’ll have light refreshments and an opportunity for group discussion on how this reflects the work of psychodynamically informed psychotherapy which in itself is often a plant trying to succeed in a challenging terrain.
More and more, we are considering the impacts of the environment, which have previously not been a factor in clinical thinking. This event serves to bring greater awareness of the local flora and fauna in an accessible way while creating a space for connection with others.
