FALL MOVIE MATINEE - Moonlight
Join the PLC and Forrest Hamer for a screening and discussion of the Oscar-winning film, Moonlight, which follows the childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood of an African-American male as he develops his identity and sexuality. Following the movie screening, psychoanalyst and award-winning poet, Forrest Hamer, will discuss the film. Popcorn will be served.
Forrest Hamer Ph.D., is a graduate and faculty member at SFCP. He is the author of three collections of poems, most recently Rift (Four Way Books), and he is in private practice in Oakland.
This event is for the general public and mental health professionals of all levels.

The Pre-licensed Clinician Members Committee focuses on outreach to Bay Area psychology students and brings NCSPP-affiliated psychologists to local graduate schools. The committee focuses on supporting professional development, as well as fostering community-building and networking among the next generation of psychoanalytic psychotherapists.
