Digital Media and Technology

NCSPP's Digital Media and Technology Committee is looking for new committee members as we use digital technologies to expand the reach and accessibility of NCSPP to members and the wider community.

TAKING OUR TECHNOLOGY TO THE NEXT LEVEL
JOIN OUR COMMITTEE TO HELP US EXPAND

In 2018 we successfully rolled out live streaming of some of our one-day workshops and events. Through this technology we have had participants attend from Oregon, Washington, and even South America. We are looking to continue this technological journey by exploring the development of an NCSPP podcast as well as other ways to use sound and video to support and enhance learning and communication. If you fit, or aspire to fit, one of these roles, we would love to hear from you as we continue to expand our technology reach.

COMMITTEE CHAIR

The committee chair works with the committee members to expand the reach and accessibility of NCSPP to members and the wider community through digital technologies. The committee develops platforms that connect digital tools with existing offline content, creates new opportunities for content creation and delivery, and utilizes technology tools to support and grow membership.
Yes, I'm interested!

BLOG/NEWSGROUP/PODCAST

Our vision for this new position includes: creating and maintaining a blog for the organization on varying topics, creating podcasts to be posted on our website, creating brief audio interviews or video clips of upcoming presenters. Exciting, I'd like to learn more!

SOCIAL MEDIA

This person will know how to MC (move the crowd) on social media. As we roll out our video offerings, we will need someone who manages to hold the analytic frame while still getting people excited, facilitating a dialogue, and building a wider audience for NCSPP's offerings through social media.
I'm interested, I'm a social media guru!

LIVESTREAM TECH

The Live-Stream Tech will be responsible for making sure the venue’s wifi system is accessible and appropriate for streaming. This person will act as liaison between venue and videographer. Responsibilities include: monitoring online content at an event (i.e. chat room discussions, monitoring questions from live stream audience and asking on their behalf), and/or creating brief audio or video clips of presenter to post on the website. Behind the scenes? My kind of job, I want to join!

VIDEOGRAPHER

This person will be responsible for filming NCSPP workshops and have a strong interest in bringing analytic ideas to the world. Typically this could be 1-3 events a year. This is a great opportunity to attend NCSPP events and shape the organization's approach to digital content delivery.
I can work a camera, sign me up!
